Did you know that the first known use of photography was in 1839? Of course people did not smile for the camera too much back in those days.  I have seen many pictures of my ancestors and they do not look too happy to be getting their picture taken.

When did my passion for photography come alive?

I have always enjoyed taking pictures, but never really considered photography until several years ago. I had it in my head that photography was strictly in a boring studio with cheesy backdrops.  My husband’s passion for photography has been for a very long time, and I guess you could say, it was contagious. I caught the photo passion-itis and it has not gone away. Once I realized how creative one can be with photography, I have been intrigued.  My first true love is art- painting, drawing, and designing.  Now, I am having an affair with photography.
