It has been almost a week since the Oklahoma snow storm arrived. Much of the snow has melted while some still sits on the ground. The other day when I stepped outside to feed my dogs, I happened to notice icicles hanging from my house. I knew we received alot of snow, but I had no idea we had icicles. The sun was shining and the icicles were starting to melt when I noticed them. I watched an icicle start to slowly melt, each drip of water falling down. I was just amazed by this intricate icicle reflecting God’s beauty and design. This icicle had a short lived life but it served a purpose for God. It was a part of his intricate design.

God's Icicle

“The breath of God produces ice, and the broad waters become frozen.”

Job 37:10

I am convinced if God is so intricate with the design of His creation of a single icicle, that He is even more intricate with how He created us.

“For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.”

Psalms 139:13

God loves us and has created us for a purpose greater than we realize. YOU are not here by accident. God created YOU and loves YOU. YOU are beautiful and intricate just like the icicle.
